From the week beginning 23rd February the Year 10 Business Students have been taking part in the Bradford Market Challenge for young people in the Bradford district who want to create a product to take to market and make a profit.
The ultimate challenge of creating a unique idea was set to all the students in hope that 2 groups will be able to pitch their enterprising idea at a Dragons Den style event and receive £100 to make their product. The students have been very enterprising with ideas ranging from smoothie cocktails to secret messages in chocolate bars. Last week 2 groups were shortlisted to hopefully pitch to the Dragons and compete with other schools across the district.
All together only 30 finalists will be chosen to create and sell their products at ‘The World Mile’, a high profile, real life trading market in Darley Street, Bradford on Saturday 5th June.
So, Well Done, Congratulations and Good Luck to all the Year 10 pupils taking part in the ‘Step Up Market Challenge’. Finger crossed!
